• Included in this complex is the BJCC Arena which seats 19,000, a concert hall that seats 3,000, a theatre that seats 1,000, 74 meeting rooms, and over 200,000 square feet of exhibition space in the Exhibition Hall.
• At the time of its initial construction, this was the largest design competition ever sanctioned by the American Institute of Architects, with over 277 firms submitting designs. Geddes Brecher Qualls & Cunningham would be the eventual winner of the competition.
