A planning application was submitted in August 2006 to increase the number of floors within Tower 1 from 27 to 30, and in Tower 2 from 40 to 44, with the overall number of residential units to increase from 691 to 802. Building heights would be unchanged.
The site was cleared at the end of 2006; groundworks began in Spring 2007.
The development features a biomass heating plant.
Prior to completion, the complex won the Daily Mail UK Property Awards 2007 Best High-rise Development and Best High-rise Architecture award.
